Gratin is a culinary technique in which an ingredient is topped with a browned crust, often using breadcrumbs, grated cheese, egg or butter. The term may be applied to any dish made using this method. Gratin is usually prepared in a shallow dish of some kind.
お腹いっぱい食べて、今日はサンマロからdouble de Bretagneへ自転車をこぐ。城壁からでるとパステルカラーのカラフルな街並みが続くギャップが面白い。昨日より道じゃない畑の畦道を抜け、海沿いへ出ると後ろにサンマロの城壁、前にモンサンミッシェルを望む贅沢な景色。今日も2時間程こいで、駅に到着。お尻が痛い。自転車旅の代償。
